Viibryd, Forest Labs' drug for treating major depression launched in August 2011, and its next-generation blood pressure drug, Bystolic, both exceeded industry analysts' sales projections for the last quarter.
Viibryd sales reached $18.9 million for the 4th quarter while Bystolic sales grew 33 percent over the previous quarter to reach $90.6 million. Overall revenue for the company grew 7 percent to $1.21 billion, according to the company's report to shareholders.
